Ocean Crest

This single-story residence on an elevated coastal site integrates expansive ocean views with a grounded material palette, emphasizing horizontal continuity, indoor outdoor fluidity and spatial clarity across public and private zones. Organized around linear volumes of stone, glass and concrete, the design uses large openings to anchor spaces to the landscape while deep overhangs shape entry and circulation. Vaulted ceilings with exposed timber rafters bring rhythm and warmth, reinforcing the planar geometry. Smooth plaster and stone cladding define the exterior alongside dark metal roofing, while interiors continue the restrained palette with natural finishes, neutral textiles and stone surfaces. The living core unites kitchen, dining and lounge beneath a vaulted timber ceiling with direct access to the patio and garden, bedrooms are oriented toward the landscape with glazed facades and minimal detailing
