South Bank

Project Type: Residential
Project Area: Garden Route
Project Size: 295 m2

Set into a steep coastal site near Mossel Bay, this multi-level residence is organised with a clear vertical arrangement that responds directly to terrain and program. Entry occurs at the upper ground level, where public living spaces and the master suite are positioned for direct access and with framed ocean views extending across the horizon. The lower ground level accommodates guest suites, tucked into the slope for privacy and thermal benefit.
The architectural language is pared back, plaster and paint, stone cladding and expansive glazing, creating a restrained palette suited to coastal exposure. The building is shaped by usability, views, light, and topographic logic.
